Here are a few old ones I found on
Writing.com.
Nostalgia Takes OverEverytime it rains, I become undone;
It's how I realize I can't go on.
The tears well up like the evening sun;
And, still, when it pours, I've become undone.
The wind in my hair releases my fears;
a feeling I've wished to embrace for a thousand years.
It's almost as if my death is near;
Yet, the wind always releases my fears.
The morning dew is an innocence once past;
I wish this feeling was here too last.
My life's rushing impossibly fast;
I remember the innocence that's long past.
The thunder in the sky turns my head;
Then I realise that now I'm dead.
The emptiness is what I dread;
The lightning in the sky above my head.
The tranquil mountains ease my soul;
For once in my spirit is finally whole.
One day, I hope I'll know;
What was whole inside my soul.
The wintery air is crisp again;
Now nature's my only friend.
In the snow my spirits send;
A message for kindness once again.
The empty air is now so real;
As my body begins to feel.
The air tucked around me like I'm in a seal;
In this space I'm completely real...
And, once again, I remember my past.
If only I could've made it last...
City of the NightUnexpected brilliance
The flair of the night
It calls me again
Onto the streets I prowl
The movement controls your mind
The lights message to me
that the night is still young
The noise is buzzing
Full of life
The feeling is celebratory
Absent of strife, absent of fear
Our pain has disappeared
The buildings surround me
Like a neon cage
I’m free, yet lost
And no where to be found
As I move through the crowd
Through the depths
I see the life below the city
The artifice of the night
That has captured me for eternity
DaydreamerDo you see that?
Close your eyes
And visualize
The land that lies
Off in the distance
First see the trees
The lush forests of green
The grandfathers they stay
In which they grow
Yet slowly die
Remember the river
Who winds a path
Through, too the ends of the earth
Carrying the sorrow
Too the edge of reality
Speak of the mountains
Whom majestically roam
The borders to the east
Whose deserted hills lie
Looming to stand tall.
Listen to the meadows
The quiet whisper they hum
As the wind sweeps
across their soul
Think of the deserts
That outlines the West
The rugged zone of death
Shouting the cries of the fallen
In their desolate skies
Hear the rain
Which dances onto the soil
They wail of nostalgia
They stress the thought of slumber
And finally, the stars
How they twinkle openly
Above the sleeping land
That they shine no matter who sees
They are always above
Shimmering hope onto everyone
Maybe there is something, too
That we may learn
From that land…
PortraitsIt reminds me of our portrait
Those smiles resembled purity
Locked as if we couldn’t move
our happiness shall forever be frozen in time
If only things could be like those days
back then things were simple and calm
now I feel as if it’s all spinning
and this is what pains my heart even more
If only I wasn’t conceited, regretful, vain…
Vengeful.
Cocky.
Nostalgic.
Day-dreamy.
Sympathetic.
Delusional.
Completely blinded.
Alone.
If only I was like the me back then
The me who lived without being caged
The me who breathed air instead of poison
The me who was once youthful
And not plotting my own demise.
My living in peace.
It reminds me of our portrait

Here are three that I wrote recently.
BelieveRemind me of how it was before we came together.How our lives were forever destined for each other.Can you recall the moment we first met?And we could tell our life together was permanetly set?The look in your eyes as you told me to smile.To make the time we had on Earth truely worth while.And as we tried to overcome each and every trial.It was this passion that kept the pain in denial.Heartache destroyed the bonds we once held close.Our eternal love is what I truely miss the most.The flame of fufillment in your eyes, I still recall.You were the vice I suffered, after all.Someday, somehow I'll make it all up to you.Our entire existence has told me that this is what I'm to do.Dream at night, see by day, be the person I'm meant to be.Then, our true love aside, you will finally believe in me.Emerald FireWalk along that road.The one you and I used to roam.Back in those days.See the sun setting over the trees.As it meshes with the chimney's release.Think of those times.Watch as your toes kick up dust.And it clouds your view.And it smells of the earth.Skip in the overlapping shadows and light.Of the tall forest.The smell of the new earth.It comforts you.And watch the emerald fire.As it sways in the fields.Soon to be enjoyed by the entire world.Little GirlLittle girl, with life in your eyesNever lose the innocence you've created.Little girl, with your heart of gold.Love those whom you have always loved.Darling, hear forever the music your mother sings.As she cradles you in her presence.Little girl, dream as big as you can.It's you that will make the difference, someday.
